"Kongousouha!!"

Hundreds of diamond spears blasted out of Tessaiga, instantly annihilating the youkai. Inuyasha sheathed Tessaiga, then looked at Kagome.

"You sense it?"

She nodded, and then made her way to the youkai, carefully picking out the Shikon shard from the remains.

She noticed a small Kongouseki sticking out of the youkai, broken off where it had hit the bone. The rock was the size of her thumb.

She quickly pocketed it as well, something she had been thinking about doing for a while now.

Kagome grinned to herself.

Her college education was taken care of.
