Ch 5. It's still big, but not as much (or as puffy) as it was around volumes 16-25. Though it's getting longer.

Ch 6. It's like almost twice as long as Sesshoumaru. I wonder if the bottom side that drags gets all dirty.

Ch 6. Definitely not as puffy as it was.

Ch 5. Takahashi sure is loving the weird flying scenes in these later volumes.

Ch 7. And here, Sesshoumaru seems to have landed, yet Fluffy is still spiraling around.

Ch 8. While it's not as wide on his shoulder, it's becoming bunched up on his back.

Ch 1. Definitely not as wide as it used to be. It's shrinking in width, yet growing in length.

Ch 4. Thinner on the shoulder....

Ch 8. Straightforward Fluffy shot.

Ch 8. Fluffy is bunched up again, probably because if it weren't, it would be trailing twenty-five feet behind him.

Ch 9. And it stretches as he jumps.

Ch 1. Another average shot.

Ch 2. It looks like he's got a hiking pack on.

So....

No one can think of Sesshoumaru without thinking of Fluffy. It's become almost an entity of its own. So what is up with Fluffy? No one knows, maybe not even Rumiko herself, but I think it's clear that we may not have Sesshoumaru around for much longer. Soon, Fluffy will completely cover him up, leaving us with nothing but a gigantic puffball.
